About Jules Buckley's Aretha at Christmas

Jules Buckley invites you to experience a seasonal side of the soul icon Aretha Franklin, as he and his Orchestra are joined by Sheléa and Vula’s Chorale for a spectacular celebration of the one of the best-selling artists of all time.

Aretha sprinkled her magic on Christmas songs like ‘Winter Wonderland’ and ‘Joy to the World’, using her unmistakable voice and gospel influence to create music that crosses generations. Backed by a full gospel choir, acclaimed singer Sheléa will embody the Queen of Soul in this concert of Aretha’s festive classics, alongside timeless hits like ‘I Say a Little Prayer’ and ‘Natural Woman’.

A protégée of Quincy Jones, Sheléa’s work alongside Jules includes a celebration of Quincy Jones’ 90th birthday with Stevie Wonder. This special Christmas concert follows Jules' unforgettable Prom with Florence + The Machine earlier this year, which received multiple five-star-reviews.
